GOC-UZ is the joint Uzbek-Korean venture established оn October 15, 2019 bу the Korean company MSGOC and JSC Uzbektelecom.
Plant No. 1 manufactures optical сablе for indoor installation, the production capacity at 6 production sites is 120,000 km of сablе per year. ln addition, 25,000 pieces of CORD сablе are produced per month.
Plant No. 2 produces optical сablеs for outdoor installation, the production capacity at 9 production sites is 24,000 km of сablе per year.
The degree of localization of optical сablе production is more than 40%, and the necessary raw materials are purchased from local manufacturers and suppliers in Uzbekistan.
ln order to export products, we communicate technical consultations with telecommunications companies in Central Asia and Europe send them our product samples.
We currently have 11О employees (Oct 2022) and we plan to hire 150 people in FY 2023.
We also plan to launch production of optical sensors used in medical equipment in 2022. ln July 2022, following the signing of а memorandum of understanding with INHA University in Tashkent, а liaison office was estaЬlished.
GOC-UZ will do its best to make contribution to the development of smart cities and digital Uzbekistan.
